HTI Attends South Pack Expo |
|
On March 11-12, 2009, the HTI Logistics Services team attended the South Pack Expo in Charlotte, NC for the second year in a row.
Even in the midst of a recession, the HTI Logistics encountered over 700 and an estimated attendance of 10,000. The event lasted for 2 days and was filled with activity throughout the exhibit hall and in all of the breakout sessions. With the current economic times, the sell for HTI's success was "better, cheaper, faster". VP of Logistics David Sewell said "I want everyone to realize that we can save them money. Our metrics are second to none and 3PL is our specialty."

On November 18-19, 2008, we will exhibit
at the AmCon - Contract Manufacturing Expo. Held in the Greensboro Coliseum in
Greensboro, NC, attendees and exhibitors will be able to find solutions for their most difficult design and

purchasing, engineering, and production managers who are directly involved in
buying custom contract manufacturing services.

HTI to Present Seminar at Expos |

Terry
Lawrence, Technical Team Leader with HTI Logistics Services, has been asked to
present a breakout seminar for two expos during the fall of 2008.
He will speak at the Carolina Industrial
& Facility Maintenance Show on October 15th, 1:40pm as well as
during the AmCon- Contract Manufacturing Expo on November 18th,
2:30pm.
Terry's
seminar is titled "Material
Flow Goals and Techniques to Improve Production." In the seminar, attendees will learn
how the material flow in a facility should be more than just a cost to be
reduced. From raw material receipt through production to shipment to the
customer, good material flow goals and execution lead to improved production
rates, fewer changeovers, and lower overall inventory levels.

Robert Bosch Corp Awards HTI New Contract |

October 1,
2008- HTI Logistics, a Greenville-based provider of managed logistics
services, announces that
they have been awarded a new contract from Robert Bosch Corporation in
Anderson, SC. The contract entails HTI
Logistics providing complete material flow and outsourced warehousing services for
Bosch's 3 onsite and 1 offsite warehouses.
HTI will manage all incoming and outgoing materials, shipping, receiving,
and delivery to point of use.
David
Sewell, Vice President of HTI Logistics commented that, "Bosch is a great,
